DESCRIPTION
Description
Colwick Country Park is a beautiful location for the Games Dragonboat Racing. It has been a popular destination for swimmers and walkers and the scenery is breathtaking. The water quality is also regularly tested and has received excellent ratings. There is some changing room availability at the outdoor activity centre but this is limited. There are some excellent flat grassed viewing areas which are ideal for your company Gazebos.
Parking
A large car park is located right next to the waterway and the Park itself is situated in close proximity to the Racecourse. The main entrance to the park is off Mile End Road, Colwick Village, on River Road, with another car park at the end of Racecourse road, past Nottingham Racecourse and Colwick Hall Hotel. Each of these entrances has public parking, though there is a barrier charge (£2 per vehicle).The site is also serviced by public transport links, please visit the Nottingham City Transport website for further details.
Catering
Concessions Vans will be available on site to offer an array of different food optins for participants a well as colleagues, friends and relatives too.
