DESCRIPTION
The new venue for the Open Water Swimming is The Race Hub which is a fantastic venue with additional infrastructure and a great sporty feel (as well as an impressive café!) . The website also has directions to the centre. Make your way along Six Hills Lane until you see the Games flags. The actual address is Race Hub, Six Hills Lane, Six Hills, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, LE14 3PR. The Open Water Swimming Coordinator Mel Berry will be there to meet you. Please be at the new venue for 1000 for your race briefing with a planned 1100 start. This will give you plenty of time to arrive and get ready for the event. The safety briefing is mandatory before the start of your event. There is a small changing room and a couple of showers on site. Thank you for your understanding in relation to the switch of destination.
Parking
There is an amount of car parking right next to the venue if you follow the Corporate Games flags. Please think about car sharing if you can.
Catering
Concessions Vans will be available on site to offer warming drinks before and after the swim.
