Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire came together with a host of partners including Keele University, Staffordshire Univerity, Newcastle Borough Council & Newcastle Under Lyme College to support the delivery of a tremendous Corporate Games in the region in 2015. There are tremendous venues in the area which are all in close proximity to each other. The destination benefits from excellent access roads & rail links & there is a significant range of impressive accommodation available on the two university campuses & also in an array of local hotels.
Staffordshire has an exciting history & a stirring heritage. It is home to magnificent stately houses at Shugborough Estate & Weston Park, historic working farms, dramatic haunted castles at Stafford, & Tamworth & a host of fabulous well established venues for sport & sightseeing.
Stoke-on-Trent is a unique City affectionately known as The Potteries. With its rich industrial heritage & history, the City has respectfully claimed the title of World Capital of Ceramics.
The City boasts many visitor centres, award winning museums, authentic factory tours, over 25 pottery factory shops & the exclusive Staffordshire Hoard.
